特殊教育的这点钱，就不要有意见了

特殊教育，也并不是说试图把那些孩子教育成爱因斯坦，或者phd。
特殊教育，有一些是矫正教育。这笔钱不花，搞不好长大了这孩子会祸害社会。
有一些针对弱智儿童。这笔钱不花，将来弱智儿童长大了，要社会福利养一辈子，这钱更多。因为法律，你还必须养。就算是共匪国，城里的弱智儿童也可以从国家拿钱的。

现在这种社会，已经没有办法对这些人进行安乐死了。那么，就要选择一种花销最少的方法。
能教育出来的，用特殊教育，给他教育成一个能正常交流正常工作的人，这算是很合算的。万一教不出来的，那没办法。

是的，钱花在特殊教育上，总比养懒汉强。养个正常孩子家长都累得吐血，难以想象那些有残疾或者智力缺陷儿童的家庭是怎么过的。
刚来美国时，总是奇怪为什么美国残疾人这么多，那时还颇以祖国残疾人少而自豪。后来才明白，不是美国残疾人多，而是美国残疾人不受歧视，有机会出门，可以参加各种活动，国内的残疾人，特别是智力有缺陷的，都被家长锁在家里，外人见不到而已。
小学时班上有个残疾同学，我们几个背他上下学背了两年。上初中离家远了，我们背不了了，父母又不能接送，他只得辍学了，也不知现在怎么样了。那个孩子还挺聪明的，只是腿残疾，在美国，大学也上的了。

They also have teacher aides following these special students from period to period, sometimes on a one-on-one basis.

无论是小孩full time上专门的学校，还是小孩half time上专门的学校，这个跟我们这个帖子的主题没有关系。因为这两种，都需要花很多钱，都是校区在花钱。
