Re: 感情深一口闷
People finish a shot of beer (or a larger drink) without visible swallowing by using a technique called throat clearing or channelling, which opens the upper esophageal sphincter to let the liquid flow straight down.
How the Technique Works
Relaxing the throat: The person tilts their head back slightly and straightens the neck to create a straight line from the mouth to the stomach.
Opening the airway/esophagus: They relax the throat muscles so the throat stays wide open instead of performing the normal alternating squeezing motion of swallowing.
Pouring it in: The liquid is dumped or poured past the tongue and gravity pulls it straight down in one continuous stream.
No throat movement: Because the muscles do not squeeze the liquid down piece by piece, the Adam's apple does not move up and down, hiding the visible sign of swallowing.
Risks
Choking: Pouring liquid straight down can cause it to go into the windpipe instead of the esophagus.
Aspiration: Liquid in the lungs can cause severe coughing, infection, or other medical dangers.
