I go to Costco weekly. Right before the pandemic, most of the times my spending was about $100-200. Then earlier in the Pandemic, it was more than $300 most of the times, and now it's down to about $150 to 250.
When I first drove in California, the gas price was about $0.7 in LA area, about 1/6 of the then minimum wage of $4.25. Now the gas here in LA is about $4.6, and six times is $27.6? Is the minimum wage now $27.6? How many times more than $27.6 can a middle class make now? And similar things go with housing, rent and other life necessities. So life is a lot tougher for the lower and middle class now.
However, I don't think this is necessarily Biden's or any specific person's fault. "It is what it is."

Sam’s

No, it’s government’s fault, obviously
