As of April 9, 2025, the White House Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) comprises the following members:
- Chairman: Stephen Miran 
• Appointed by President Donald Trump and confirmed by the Senate on March 12, 2025. 
• Previously served as a senior adviser for economic policy at the Treasury Department during Trump’s first administration. 
• Holds a doctorate in Economics from Harvard University.  - Vice Chair and Member: Pierre Yared 
• Serves as the MUTB Professor of International Business at Columbia University’s Business School. 
• Previously held positions as Senior Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs and Vice Dean for Executive Education at Columbia Business School. 
• His research focuses on the political economy of macroeconomic policy.  - Member: Kim Ruhl 
• On leave from his role as the Curt and Sue Culver Professor of Economics at the University of Wisconsin, where he co-directs the Center for Research on the Wisconsin Economy. 
• His research interests include international economics, models of firm heterogeneity, and national income accounting. 
• Holds a B.S. in Economics from Bowling Green State University and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Minnesota.  - Counselor: DJ Nordquist 
• Previously served as the executive vice president of the Economic Innovation Group. 
• Has been involved with organizations such as the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. 
The CEA provides the President with objective economic analysis and advice on the development and implementation of a wide range of domestic and international economic policy issues.
