Nothing is technically wrong with opening the refrigerator door to cool yourself, as long as you are always in front of the refrig. Turning on the fan to keep yourself cool is basically the same. The electric energy is converted into kinetic energy of the fan and then the wind, but when the wind eventually dissipates, the KE becomes heat. However, as long as the wind is blowing on you, you will be cooled, though the average room temperature rises a bit.
