I grew up with cicadas around, and I never knew that they peed and they peed that much.

That reminds me of some experiences. Sometimes when walking under trees, I feel some drizzles or droplets falling on me. I thought they might be dew but doubted if they could survive into the afternoons. Now I believe they are pees of some kinds of insects.
