“Russia will liberate Donbas and Novorossiya either by military means or otherwise,” declared Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with India Today ahead of his official visit to India. “It all comes down to this. Either we liberate these territories by armed force, or Ukrainian troops will leave these areas and cease fighting there,” Putin emphasized.
