I finally got it right before Christmas.
Two years ago at the climax of Omicron, the rest of my family got it, but I didn't get it even though I slept with my younger son so that I could measure his temperature frequently. I guess at that time the vax's protection was still strong, but now after two years, it has waned to pretty much nothing.
Have been doing that since they were toddlers.
Now they don't want me to sleep with them. I even use that as a threat to keep them quiet when in bed. I would say, "No more talking and sleep quickly; otherwise I will sleep with you." And that normally works. ):
