Exactly. It’s so undeserved too because their gm is cheap. They weren’t contending for a long time, they were likely not going to do much at the deadline because they are a poorly run team that just got completely bailed out by malpractice. The fact that no one else even got to offer the Mavs anything is complete collusion

I don’t know, man, this really isn’t good for anyone but the Lakers. This is especially bad for basketball. Ratings are down, fan interest is waning, and we just watched an absurd trade that sends a generational superstar to the Lakers for a 32-year old AD and pocket change.
You could never convince me that something isn’t amiss here. A Luka trade should have netted the biggest trade haul in league history. Love him or hate him, but he was a borderline untradeable asset. A comical underpay, literally a trade that you force the computer to take on a video game, AND he goes to the Lakers? This is a huge black spot on the league.

Uhh when something is too good to be true, that means someone got swindled. Why would Mavs give up a 25 year old perennial star for 32 year old injury prone AD? Seeing how Luka was playing last season, it must mean his knees are cooked. Lakers gladly make this trade because Pelinka saves his job and trying to keep Lakers relevant when Bron retires.
