The questions is, are those Palestinians killed by Israel innocent? Are they doing tangible work in supporting Hamas? From what I know, most of them are children and women.
During WW2, weaponry was much less accurate. When the US bombed Japan, they dropped the bombs from tens of thousands feet up in the sky, they could not pinpoint the exact locations and limit the damage to those locations. Plus, are you still applying the standards eighty years ago on today's situation?
