这还是不一样。自己作，摔了一跤把腿摔断了，只能自己生气一下，如果别人打你一拳，就算没把腿打断，你也要打回去啊。

Simple google search returns that about 8 to 30 million Chinese civilians were killed by Japan during that time. My grandparents lived during that time. Now at least 70 people, from my parents' generation to my child's generation, carry their genes since my grandparents have six children. What is 70 times 8 to 30 million? So it's possible that up to more than ten percents of Chinese people have an ancestor killed by Japan during WW2.
死在老毛手里的多，死在国共内战的多，惨死在文革的多--That's difficult to keep track because they were killed by their "own" people and therefore it's easier to forget, if not forgive.
