Of course, nobody is denying that.

Re: 654 mass shootings this year
Massachusetts and New Jersey have the lowest gun ownership at 14.7%, while Montana the highest at 66.3%. Do you think gun laws make no difference?
汽车撞? Do you need to worry about 汽车撞 when you are in a shopping mall? In the classroom? Inside your home? Guns make no place safe.

Re: 654 mass shootings this year
Crime is not a problem with a single fix. People are the root problem. Different states/people have different ways to deal with that.
Another approach is to take away the tools from the criminals. That's a separate approach. In general, blue sstates have stricter gun laws to keep guns away from criminals, and red states refuse to do that.
Just like when your kids are too young, you don't give them access to dangerous stuff like guns, knives, matches, medication, and other stuff.

Re: 654 mass shootings this year
No, you are wrong.
The states with the highest gun ownership have much higher (66% higher) homicide rates and slightly higher violent and property crime rates (both 11%) in 2022. In 2020, those numbers were 84%, 25% and 34% higher. I posted numbers in more detail on the old site. If you want, I can look for them and repost here.
All those states with lowest gun ownership are blue states, included CA and NJ. Almost all the states with highest gun ownership are red states.

I don't care!
You care blue shithole or red shithole?

Re: 654 mass shootings this year
The definition of homicide is not changed.
Who said 不是正面抢钱就不叫抢? It is still a property crime. If committed with a gun, it is a violent crime.
Right, it does not matter if it is a blue or red shithole. So normally when talking about gun violence, I distinguish between states with high gun ownership and states with low gun ownership. If you look at my first post in this thread, red states have only 6% higher mass shootings per capita than blue states, the difference is pretty much insignificant. Tow and three years ago, blue states actually had slightly higher mass shooting per capita. It's more about gun ownership.
