The root problem is, American manufacture employers pay a lot more than their foreign counterparts. Their employees are more expensive, their business and employee insurances are more expensive, and their legal fees are a lot more expensive. And the combination of these is still much more expensive than transoceanic shipping. In the past, the American production per worker was much higher due to its advance in tech and engineering, but now it's pretty much gone. Most people are watching their own wallet. Merchants want the lowest cost to achieve the best profit, and consumers want to pay less to make ends meet. So in general, most manufacture won't come back to the US, no matter whose ass is in the White House.

台湾有全民医保，很多东西，税收给cover了吧。香港9刀，那也是苦不堪言

传统制造业啊，你去看看美国工厂，曹德旺给多少，我们公司比曹德旺还狠，给15刀，而且是第三方公司聘来的，连保险都不给。工人要加班买奥巴马care过活，疫情后这几年涨了工资，不过物价也长了
