奥本海默: quantum mechanics vs chemistry

奥本海默，终于看完了。两遍。

挺不错看的。人物刻画很细腻。通篇基本是对话。他和kitty的见面必须一提，因为说起了quantum mechanics.

(Oppie)This is where I keep the good stuff

(Kitty) Oh I know this was Paulman’s house.

O: I lived with them when I am at Caltech

(Lucy passing by) Do you two need anything?

O: We are good Lucy.

O: So, you are a biologist

K: Well somehow I’ve graduated to housewife...Can you explain quantum mechanics to me? It seems baffling.

O: Yes it is. Well, this glass, this drink, this countertop, our bodies. (Kitty grabbed his glass), all of it. It’s mostly empty space. Grouping of tiny energy waves bound together...

K: By what? (looking deep into his eyes)

O: (touching and holding Kitty's right hand) Forces of attraction strong enough to convince us that matters solid stopped my body passing through yours (locked fingers).

让我想起很久以前一个电影，Before Sunset. A writer ran across his ex girlfriend on a book tour. 然后就是一路说说说，因为他要赶飞机，只有一点时间。影片最后女主角说，you are gonna miss the plane. 然后镜头转到男主角坐在那里，微微一笑地说，I know.

回到奥本海默，kitty turned out to be a rock. 在奥本海默最底谷的时候她并没有被压趴，反而激励奥本海默fight. 两人之间的chemistry, 最终战胜了quantum mechanics.
