Situations covered (assuming no added tax complexity):
W-2 income
Interest or dividends (1099-INT/1099-DIV) that don’t require filing a Schedule B
IRS standard deduction
Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)
Child Tax Credit (CTC)
Student loan interest deduction

Itemized deductions claimed on Schedule A
Unemployment income reported on a 1099-G
Business or 1099-NEC income
Stock sales (including crypto investments)

turbotax 就50块，就是一顿饭钱的事情。turbotax 太方便了，各种表格可以自动导入，还和州税一条龙服务。
等什么时候政府网站做的成熟了，方便了，别人都在用了，自动导入所有的表格，才考虑去用。
